Entry Level (Burr Hand)

Growing and stable Aerospace/Energy precision machine shop located in Romulus, Michigan is seeking Entry Level Burr Hands for full-time employment. Company has been in business for over 50 years with exceptionally low turnover. Advancement opportunities available. Company has a history of promoting from within.

Job Description:

Deburring, filing, buffing of precision machined gas turbine parts. Employee will be required to work with power tools as well as hand tools. A good mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn is a plus. This position allows for potential advancement to skilled machinist position in future.

Job Requirements:
All positions require a high school diploma or GED and familiarity with common hand tools and measurement equipment. Applicants must be willing to work 1st or 2nd shift. All applicants will be expected to pass shop math exam and pre-employment physical exam/drug screening. Experience within the Aerospace industry and super alloys (nickel based) a plus.

Must be a U.S. Person
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Salary: $37,000.00 to $45,000.00 /year
